1. In my town, I see a lot of bonny girls.

2. I wish to have a bonny son.

So for my 1 and 2 examples, how do you compare the meaning???

For me, I think, the first example means fair to see; rosy and pretty girls...
and the second example means fine; excellent or healthy-looking son...
